Hiring a Plumber

Hiring a plumber to do any handy work around the house seems like just about the worst possible thing one would have to do. Not only does it mean that something broke (and ninety nine percent of the time it is an emergency), but it most likely means you are dealing with a used car salesman type of guy who you just know is ripping you off. The trick is to go online and read as many reviews from real people as possible. One thing that really annoyed me was that no matter who I called was that every plumbing company charged about eighty to one hundred dollars just to come and look at my toilet. If you go with that company though they do take the driving fee off. Basically, if you need a plumber, chances are it’s an emergency and you are going to have to have to quickly make a decision on which plumber to go with. For the most part choosing a small company is the way to go as far as I am concerned. They don’t spend the huge dollars on marketing which they them pass down to their customers. Good luck and if you go into the process knowing you are most likely going to get ripped off a little, then you will be just fine!

From my prior experience (I’ve hired more than 50 plumbers in multiple cities for a large company), you will find great plumbers on provenplumbers.com. What makes Proven Plumbers so great is that they research local plumbing contractors for you and weed out the plumbers that provide poor service and try to rip customers off. Whenever I have to hire a plumber these days I choose one that’s listed on Proven Plumbers, it’s just much easier that way.
